Google’s John Mueller said that if it was him, he would nofollow all guest blog posts links – even if you are a regular contributor to a site and you write very high quality content, just nofollow the links out to your own site. You can profit from those links other ways, he said and this way, you don’t have to worry about it.

I would almost go so far as to say well, even those those kind of guest posts where you do contribute significantly to the site maybe it makes sense just to have those links as nofollow. And have it such that you kind of profit from from the people who actually go to your site because I think that you wrote something fantastic and they’re really interested in hearing more from you.
